Modern Old Time String Band Music

LARRY DEMING: fiddle
STEPHEN K. MILLER: mandolin
DICK NEAL: vocals, banjo
CHUCK O'DONNELL: vocals, guitar

Since 2003, HOE has worked steadily as a featured act in concert, at parties, weddings, and all nature of events. Drawing on an array of diverse influences, this string band (3-part vocals, guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, upright bass) ignores barriers and boundaries to create a sound that is at once timeless and timely. It is as adept at picking a traditional fiddle tune, a Bill Monroe classic, as it is interpreting a Beatles number or one of its own original compositions.

HOE is based in Southern Connecticut (Fairfield/New Haven Counties). It has traveled around the Northeast to play.
